Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping with CAIUS. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains your rights and how returns, exchanges and refunds are handled for orders placed through our online store.

2. Your Right to Cancel

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have the legal right to cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

To exercise your right to cancel, please email us at contact@caiusldn.com with your order number, full name and the item you wish to return.

3. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Returned within the applicable return period;
  • Unused, unworn and in its original condition;
  • Free from signs of wear, damage, perfume, lotions or other marks;
  • Returned with its original packaging, tags, pouches, boxes and accessories where applicable.

We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, or if it is returned damaged, worn or incomplete.

4. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of pierced jewellery, earrings or similar hygiene-sensitive items if their sealed packaging has been opened, unless the item is faulty.

We also cannot accept returns for:

  • Personalised, engraved or custom-made items;
  • Items damaged by misuse, accidental damage, improper care or normal wear and tear;
  • Items returned without prior return authorisation.

This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.

5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us at contact@caiusldn.com as soon as possible and include:

  • Your order number;
  • A clear description of the issue;
  • Photographs or videos showing the fault, damage or incorrect item;
  • Photographs of the packaging, where relevant.

Under UK consumer law, if goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement. If you reject faulty goods within 30 days of receiving them, you may be entitled to a full refund.

6. How to Start a Return

To start a return, please email us at contact@caiusldn.com before sending any item back.

Please include:

  • Your full name;
  • Your order number;
  • The item you wish to return;
  • The reason for the return;
  • Photos if the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

Once your return request has been reviewed, we will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address. Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as unauthorised returns may not be accepted.

7. Return Shipping Costs

For returns due to change of mind, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

If the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will provide a suitable solution in accordance with your statutory rights, which may include a replacement, refund or reimbursement of reasonable return postage costs where applicable.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning your item. CAIUS is not responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit.

8. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

Please note that your bank, card provider or payment service may take additional time to process and post the refund to your account.

9. Original Delivery Charges

If you cancel your full order within the legal cancellation period, we will refund the standard delivery charge you paid for the original delivery, where applicable.

If you selected a premium or express delivery option, we are only required to refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option available at the time of purchase.

10. Exchanges

We may offer exchanges depending on stock availability. If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us at contact@caiusldn.com.

If the requested item is unavailable, we may offer a refund or store credit, subject to your legal rights.

11. Sale Items and Promotional Items

Sale items and promotional items may be returned in accordance with this policy, provided they meet the return eligibility requirements.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged or misdescribed.

12. International Orders

For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes or import charges. These charges are not controlled by CAIUS and are not refundable by us.

For international returns due to change of mind, customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs documentation required.

13. Refused or Unclaimed Deliveries

If an order is refused, unclaimed or returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, we may deduct any shipping costs, return fees or handling costs from the refund, where permitted by law.

14. Return Address

Please contact us at contact@caiusldn.com before returning any item. We will provide the correct return address and instructions after reviewing your request.

Do not return items to the sender address on the parcel unless we specifically instruct you to do so.

16. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer protection laws.
